back next Mixed Media on Canvas Staci's mixed media pieces use the same surface design techniques employed in her art quilts with the addition of transfers of her original photographs and stamps. As with her art quilts, found objects and fiber are instrumental to her design and add a sense of depth. Staci's photographs are high contrast images which add stark imagery frequently in discordance with the layers of background color. She loves this juxtaposition of color and imagery and strives for it in most of her work.
